These Domain Registration Terms apply when you register, renew or transfer a domain name through PomeloHost, a brand of FINLEADGEN LLC (135 E Dania Beach Blvd, Apt 1, Dania Beach, FL 33004). They are part of the PomeloHost Terms of Service.
1. Registrar and registry rules
PomeloHost is a reseller. Domains are registered through our accredited registrar partner, Tucows Domains Inc. (OpenSRS). When you register a domain, you also agree to:
- the registrar’s Domain Name Registration Agreement: [link from the OpenSRS reseller panel];
- the policies of the registry that operates the domain extension;
- ICANN policies, including the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) and the Registrants’ Benefits and Responsibilities: https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/benefits-2013-09-16-en.
2. You are the registrant
The person or organization listed as registrant owns the right to use the domain for the registration period. You must provide accurate and current contact information and keep it up to date. Inaccurate information or failure to respond to verification requests can lead to suspension or cancellation of the domain under ICANN rules.
3. Privacy protection
Where the domain extension allows it, we include free WHOIS privacy protection, which replaces your contact details in public WHOIS with proxy information. Some extensions do not allow privacy protection.
4. Registration, renewal and expiry
- Domains are registered for the period you choose, from 1 to 10 years.
- Auto-renewal is turned on by default. We send renewal reminders by email before expiry. You can turn auto-renewal off in your account.
- If a domain expires, it may stop working and enter a redemption period during which it can be restored for an additional fee charged by the registry. After that, it may be released for registration by others.
- Free domains included with a hosting or VPS plan renew at the standard renewal price.
5. Transfers
You may transfer your domain to another registrar, subject to registry rules, including the 60-day lock after a new registration or a change of registrant. We provide the authorization code in your account. Transfers to PomeloHost include one year of renewal where the registry allows it.
6. Disputes and misuse
Domain disputes are resolved under the UDRP or other applicable registry policies, not by PomeloHost. We may suspend a domain when required by the registrar, the registry, ICANN, a court order, or our Acceptable Use Policy, for example for phishing or malware.
7. Refunds
Domain registrations, renewals, transfers and restoration fees are non-refundable once processed, as described in our Refund Policy.
